Group Homes
Children live together and learn and practice important psycho-social and family living skills that improve their ability to function and contribute within their family and community under the 24-hour supervision and teaching of residential staff.
Therapeutic Foster Homes
A single parent or married couple takes one or two youth into their own home and provides structure and therapeutic interventions that encourage the child to use and practice important psycho-social under the guidance of trained and experienced therapeutic parents. More than 100 locations across central and eastern North Carolina.
Crisis Intervention/Respite
Provides youth with 24-hour short-term therapeutic interventions in safe, licensed, stable, and closely supervised environments.
Community Support Services
Service is directed by a mental health professional designed for children needing less than 3 hours of service per day. Case management and service coordination to help children and their families assess, locate and secure mental health services. Therapeutic intervention, functional support and skills training to improve clients’ level of function in the home, school or community. Includes parenting support, training and education for caregivers. Service is intended to help children develop the skills needed to function and interact appropriately in natural community settings such as school and home.
Day Treatment Services
Day Treatment is a service for children and adolescents who are emotionally disturbed which coordinates mental health therapy with a student’s educational program. May include individual therapy, group therapy, recreational therapy, language- communication skill development, social skill development, pre-vocational services and family interventions.
